East Guyong Quarry Modification

Hanson Construction Materials engaged Umwelt to prepare an Environmental Assessment for the modification of their East Guyong Quarry, a State significant hard rock quarry located near Orange NSW.

The modification involved an increase in production and expansion of the quarry extraction area. Umwelt’s specialists worked with Hanson to successfully manage key impacts relating to noise, biodiversity, traffic and visual amenity.

The modification was approved by the NSW Department of Planning, Industry and Environment.
