Progressing the Growth of Renewable Energy Developments in Australia
Our Umwelt Renewables Team have been busy preparing and coordinating several early feasibility studies, development applications and environmental impact statements for renewable energy developments across Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and Western Australia.
We are currently supporting a broad range of wind and solar projects, many of which are combined with battery energy storage systems to enable dispatchable electricity to the grid at times of peak demand.
Battery energy storage systems have become increasingly popular around the country as both an ancillary component to wind and solar developments and as standalone projects. The rise in battery developments is contributing towards Australia’s transition to renewable energy and acting as a promising form of electricity security in areas where it is needed most.
The Umwelt team are thrilled to be working with some of Australia’s largest renewable energy developers and supporting them with a range of services including: planning and environmental approvals, ecological surveys and assessment, Indigenous and non-Indigenous heritage, noise assessments, and hydrologic assessments.
