Our Archaeology Team is growing

The Umwelt archaeology team is very happy to welcome two new Senior Archaeologists.

Josh Madden (pictured above) has joined us in our Newcastle office.  Josh comes to us with a wealth of experience across a range of projects, with a recent focus on archaeological salvage for major infrastructure projects.  He is now involved in mutliple projects at Umwelt, including the recent completion of archaeological excavations prior to infrastructure installation in the Lower Hunter.

Pamela Ricardi has joined our team in Canberra.  Pamela also has a range of consulting experience, having worked in Victoria, NSW and the ACT.  She has jumped straight into a major fieldwork program undertaking test and salvage works in southern NSW.

Umwelt’s Manager Cultural Heritage, Nicola Roche commented:

“We are very fortunate to have Pamela and Josh joining the team.  Both Pamela and Josh have significant experience in undertaking cultural heritage assessments for a wide range of sectors, including a wealth of experience in major infrastructure projects.  Pamela and Josh come into our team at a senior level and will allow us to continue to provide quality service to existing and new clients”

Pamela and Josh join our existing team of 7 archaeologists providing archaeological services across NSW and the ACT.
