A Voice for the Greater Goldfields 

Umwelt was engaged by Independence Group (IGO) to undertake a Social Impact Assessment (SIA) and community engagement program for their Nova Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Operation located in the Goldfields region of Western Australia.

Steel River Concrete Batching Plant EIS 

Hanson Construction Materials engaged Umwelt to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the construction of a new 170,000 m3 / 410,000 tonnes per annum concrete batching plant in Mayfield West NSW.

East Guyong Quarry Modification 

Hanson Construction Materials engaged Umwelt to prepare an Environmental Assessment for the modification of their East Guyong Quarry, a State significant hard rock quarry located near Orange NSW. The modification involved an increase in production and expansion of the quarry extraction area.

ACARP ProjectInvestigating recognisable and self-sustaining ecological mine rehabilitation 

Umwelt commenced the ACARP (Australian Coal Association Research Program)-funded project investigating recognisable and self-sustaining ecological mine rehabilitation in March 2018.

Mt Thorley 66kV Transmission Line 

The Mt Thorley 66kV Transmission Line project was driven by the need to meet increasing demand for electricity at the Bulga Coal Complex associated with the Bulga Optimisation Project.
